This full tang Tactical Tomahawk is stock removal from 1075 High Carbon Steel with a double grind on the business end and a Wrought Iron Powder coated finish. The spike is ground but not sharpened. It has an excellent feel in the hand with the weight being mostly in the head of the hawk lending itself to be a great user. The handle is assembled with Black G10 scales that have been attached with Gulso bolts. Full tang. 5 inches of sharpened edge, 12 5/16 inches at the longest measurement and 8 1/4 inches from the spike to the cutting edge. 1075 high carbon steel. Stock removal.
Comes with a Black Dragon scale print Kydex belt carry sheath that can easily be put on and taken off with Pull The Dot snaps. The Tomahawk is also retained with a strap and Pull the Dot snap. Made by the maker.
About the Maker: Greg Campbell owns and operates Cur Custom Blades in Richmond, Virginia. He has been making knives for 9 years and specializes in bushcraft, hunting, EDC and culinary knives in the Japanese style. Greg also teaches knifemaking classes out of Hardway Workshop, a community shop in Richmond, Virginia that he was instrumental in starting. When he's not in the shop, you'll find him managing a genetics lab at Virgina Commonwealth University or at home with his wife of 30 years and three daugthers.
