Apex in 80CrV2 Go Mai (Damascus/304 SS Mesh)

This EDC "APEX" drop point has been created with Go Mai. Go Mai is a blade made with 5 layers of different metals. In the case of this Apex, it is 80CrV2 core with a 100 layer Damascus jacket and a layer of 304 stainless steel mesh in the middle. When etched in ferric chloride, the layers are revealed. The handle has been constructed from Bog Oak and a white G10 liner with three white G10 pins. Full tang. 2 7\8 inch blade, 6 inches overall. 80CrV2 GoMai steel.

It comes with a black leather sheath with a laser etched design, an ulti clip, and an ambidextrous leather belt loop.  

About the Maker: Clay Unruh has been making knives since 2017 at his knife shop in Coldwater, Kansas. When he's not making knives, you'll find him operating his backhoe service. He competed in Forged in Fire (Season 9, Episode 23) and often competes in other knife competitions. He specializes in kitchen and outdoor knives.
