This Hunter is forged from 52100 high carbon steel. It is flat ground with a squared spined that is 9/64 inch and is a full tang construction. The handle is 11/16 inch thick and is shaped to fit the user's hand. The handle is constructed of figured walnut with three 1/8 inch brass pins. Full tang construction. 3 1/2 inch blade, 8 inches overall. 52100 high carbon steel. Forged.
It comes with a drop leather sheath made by the maker.
About the Maker: Ken Markley has been forging since 1988 and became a Journeyman Smith through the American Bladesmith Society in 1997. He started as a blacksmith creating ornamental pieces but his passion is making hunter, kitchen, and utility knives in both carbon and Damascus steel.
