This Box Cutter is forged from 1080 and 15N20 high carbon steel with a laddered W pattern, hollow ground with a smooth round spine that is 3/16" thick and is a full tang construction. The handle is 5/8 inch thick and is shaped to fit the user's hand. The handle construction is dyed orange camel bone with two copper pins and a lanyard hole. Full tang. 2 1/8" inch blade, 5 5/8 inch overall. Laddered W damascus of 1080 and 15N20. Forged.
It does not come with a sheath, but a custom sheath can be ordered from Arkansas Knife Shop or choose one of the premade sheaths found in Arkansas Knife Shop.
About the Maker: Ken Markley has been forging since 1988 and became a Journeyman Smith through the American Bladesmith Society in 1997. He started as a blacksmith creating ornamental pieces but his passion is making hunter, kitchen, and utility knives in both carbon and Damascus steel.
